It’s Time To Say I Believe AmberTurd

We are 5 weeks into a 6 week courtroom drama between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard and I’ve made my final decision after hearing the roommates and her sister on the stand, I believe Amber Heard.

Every woman who makes the claims Amber has made should be heard. I 100% believe that. These last 5 weeks the world has listened to those claims and with 4 days of testimony left plus closing arguments I’m not sure anything will sway where I stand now.

Why I Believe Amber Heard

During both Johnny and Amber’s testimony, they discussed how they fell madly in love. The description of it was almost like a flame burning hot for one another. I believe Amber when she talked about that early passion.

I believe Amber didn’t technically punch Johnny when she gaslights Johnny saying, ‘You weren’t punched, I didn’t punch you. I was hitting you’.

I believe her when her dog stepped on a bee. I can imagine how much that would hurt

I believe her when she claims she had the dog pi$$ beat out of her and amica cream is the greatest thing ever invented that gets rid of all that ailed her including glass shards apparently. I should go tell my doctor about it.

I believe her when she says she’s hurt by all the negativity surrounding her.

I believe Whitney when she said Amber looked like a skeleton when she filed for the TRO, stress does crazy things including realizing that marriage to Depp was over.

I believe Amber thinks she’s a survivor of Depp’s substance abuse, thinks this will actually do something for her career, and thinks Johnny is cause of all her problems.

I believe Amber when she said ‘I can’t promise you I won’t get physical again. God I f–king … get so mad I lose it’.

I believe Amber when she thinks everybody likes her and she’s the apple of Hollywood’s eyes.

I believe Amber thinks she’s a good actress.

I believe Amber thinks she did everything 100% on her own and marrying Johnny was just a marriage.

I also believe Amber when she said, ‘I would love to see women be able to be powerful, complex, smart, opinionated, and taken seriously, even if they are beautiful. Even more I would love to see women held to different standards, other than the superficial ones that we’re held to.

Well Amber we’ve held you to other standards than the superficial standards our sex has been held to for millennia and to quote Paul Bettany as Chaucer, you’ve ‘been found wanting’.

I also believe Dr. Curry’s evaluation a little bit more than Dr. Hughes is relevant to this case. I believe Amber has PTSD from her childhood, Amber’s childhood sounds tragic. I also believe what we’ve seen play out in real time is Dr. Curry’s diagnosis. I’m not a psychologist so I’m going off Dr. Curry’s testimony and several psychologists that have offered their explanation of those diagnosis based on Dr. Curry’s findings.

For those still reading #JusticeforJohnny

On a separate more snarky note, I also believe Heard massively overpaid for her legal team by $6million. Dr. Hughes, a testimony expert, gave horrible expert testimony and her #hashtag expert provided one of the weirdest ‘statistical’ analysis I’ve ever seen. If I hear ‘What if any’ again, I might just scream all the way to Dr. Hughes office and ask for some of her pro bono help.

Maybe Amber’s just testing the waters. “If you want to find out who your real friends are, sink the ship. The first ones to jump aren’t your friends” -Marilyn Manson.

Johnny’s substance abuse is nothing new. For people my age (36), there isn’t a moment Johnny hasn’t been around with a cigarette in his mouth and tabloid news showing some kind of drug use. He’s like that cool uncle you never see but get super excited when he’s around. He was also part owner of the Viper Room, made famous for drug use and where River Phoenix died from an overdose. Drug use is nothing new with Depp.

Recently an article was published in a fairly mainstream online publication (I will not repost it) saying that we need to believe Amber even though she’s flawed. We have testimony after testimony showing Amber admitting to physically assaulting Johnny including recordings and psychologist testimony. Johnny Depp is flawed. That’s clear and he was the first person to tell us he’s flawed. He owned up to them. Amber is also flawed. They both came from difficult childhoods that I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. So why not believe Johnny even though he’s flawed? #Metoo may have been started by women against their male assaulters but there’s nothing that says men can’t be part of that movement. Hopefully we’ll see more men publicly discuss they’re the victim as well.

Continued Watching

As someone who watches Youtube on a regular basis here’s who I’m watching during this trial.

https://www.youtube.com/c/TheEmilyDBaker: Emily D Baker is a former Deputy DA for LA County and gives a great breakdown of the case from a legal perspective. Were the objections worthy, who’s wasting time, who’s up to shenanigans in the courtroom, how does the legal procedure work in a civil case versus a criminal case. As somene who isn’t a lawyer and hasn’t taken a legal course in my life, it helps form an educated opinion.

https://www.youtube.com/c/PsychologyInSeattle : Psychology In Seattle is a practicing psychologist and professor in Seattle and gives a breakdown relaying it back to the diagnosis Dr. Hughes and Dr. Curry gave. Being able to understand how someone might think with those diagnosis has been enlightening. Psychology is hard ya’ll.

If anyone has been watching anyone else list it in the comments. I seriously can’t get enough of this trial. I’ve been trying to find Youtubers who support Amber and they are hard to find. Curious how they’ve reached their conclusions if they’ve watched this trial at all.
