I love skin care. I don't think I can express how much I love the comforting feeling of a face wash cleaning the skin at the end of the day. It's all part of the after-work routine of taking the work clothes off and putting on lounge pants.
Besides loving skin care and the routine, I'm also a scientist. I have two Masters degrees in Epidemiology and a PhD in Plant Pathology. Many of the compounds we use on a regular basis on our face come from plants. Glycerin, for example, salycylic acid originally came from a plant origin. Some of these compounds I've studied and love how we're going back to a more 'natural' skincare routine.
They say you need a PhD to read labels, that's what I'm here to do for you. Not only can I read them I'll breakdown the science behind your favorite skincare products using scientific studies, not othr people's blog posts.
